Celebrando mi Cumpleaños

¡Hola chicos! We recently celebrated my birthday! We've made a lot of sacrifices to pursue our dreams, and that also includes money. So, we almost did not celebrate my birthday, but I felt like this year we needed to. Gary coordinated to get a small group of friends together. He really stepped up to the plate to make sure it happened. We had a mishap with our food arrangements, but at the last minute, we decided to just get catering.

We ordered from Mangu Sabroso in the Bronx. We had Masa de Cangrejo, Bistec, Pollo, Ensalada de Papa y más!

We also set up a special photo booth session. Take a look at some of our pictures. Some of our friends that also moved to New York from Santo Domingo came through too! They are also salseros and we all used to dance at Fusion Latina.

Two of the funnest parts of the night was karaoke and Fanny's Samsung Gear VR. They were watching and waiting for something scary to pop out at them. I didn't put it on because I don't like scary stuff.

It was a fun night and I'm happy we did not cancel!
